Compliance for teams under 50

Compliance that badgers you, so your auditor never has to.

A badger is small, absurdly persistent, and entirely unbothered by things several times its size. Which is also the job description for an eleven-person company doing SOC 2® for the first time. We built the software version.

Unlimited users. Onboarding included. No seat maths at renewal.

01 / Digging

What it does while you ship

Compliance work does not get harder over time. It gets bigger, because it gets postponed. The fix is small, dull, daily.

Collects evidence quietly

AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean, Scaleway, GitHub, Cloudflare, Slack, Google Workspace, Linear, Shortcut, FleetDM. Nothing to screenshot.

Maps controls once

One control, credited across SOC 2, ISO 27001 and GDPR. Adding a second framework should not double the work, and here it does not.

Keeps a risk register

One an auditor can actually follow — with owners, decisions and dates, not a colour-coded grid nobody has opened since the workshop.

Drafts the paperwork

Policies, training, vendor reviews, business continuity. First drafts in minutes, shaped by how your team actually works. You approve.

Nags with a to-do list

Not a compliance score that hovers at 87% forever. A finite list of things, in order, with names attached.

Answers the buyer

A trust center and a place to keep security questionnaires, so the deal stops waiting on someone's inbox.

02 / Not digging

Five things it will not do

Worth knowing before you spend twenty minutes on a call finding out.

Call itself an enterprise platform

You have fourteen people and a shared calendar. We both know. AuditBadger is built for companies under fifty, and that constraint is the product.

Charge per seat until finance notices

One price, unlimited users. Compliance is a whole-company sport; charging you to invite the person who owns the control is a strange way to sell safety.

Write your system description while you are at lunch

It drafts it section by section from your controls, vendors and policies — deliberately semi-automatic. In a SOC 2® report, management asserts that description. You read it and sign it. That is the correct amount of friction.

Hand you to an account executive

Demos and onboarding are run by the founding team. There is no sales department to get past, and no discovery call before the demo.

Offer you a free trial

There isn't one. A fortnight of poking at an empty compliance tool teaches nobody anything. Instead: a real price on a public page, and a free policy generator you can use today without talking to us.

03 / Own medicine

We ran this on ourselves first

AuditBadger has completed its own SOC 2® Type II examination, and the entire program — controls, evidence, policies, risks — lives inside AuditBadger. Prep for our Type I examination took under two weeks on the product itself.

A good chunk of what is in the product exists because we hit the problem at an inconvenient hour, or because a customer asked for it and was right.

About the two badgers

Yes, complybadger.com and auditbadger.com are the same animal. We keep a second door because we send a little outbound mail, and one over-eager spam filter should not be able to unplug the whole company. Nothing is sold from this page — it exists to point at auditbadger.com, where the product and the actual humans are.

If our email found you at a bad moment, reply and tell us. A person reads it, and we would rather have a shorter list than a resentful one.

Let something small and stubborn handle it
